An Advocacy Collective Supporting The Kamala Harris Presidential Ticket
Another Donald Trump Presidency is unequivocally the greatest threat to the lives of Americans in modern history. For women, people of color, and members of the LGBTQ+ community, it would be the continued assault on our right to work, have equal protection under the law, practice autonomy over our bodies, and, in many cases, survive in this country.
But there is hope.
A movement began to form within a week of Vice President Kamala Harris accepting the bid for President of the United States. People from every background in cities and small towns across the country mobilized to raise a record number of campaign dollars, sign up for volunteer events coast to coast, and engage voters in their communities.
We, The People! seek to be the thread that bonds these groups' and grassroots efforts by serving as a messaging partner to help drive home meaningful narratives about the Harris campaign in a unified voice.
Through research and work with team Harris, our collective has produced approachable and personal messaging around key election issues impacting marginalized communities. We believe that regardless of sex, gender, race, religion, or ethnic background, every American wants the same things:
A home that they can afford in a safe community that allows them to plant roots and build wealth for their loved ones
Jobs that pay a living wage and allow them to save for retirement and their future
Schools that deliver a high-quality education to their kids that prepare them for work, college, and life
Access to affordable, quality healthcare and autonomy over their bodies
The freedom to love who they choose without fear of persecution, prosecution, or violence
A government that believes every American is entitled to equal rights and equal protection under the law
A society that honors every American's civic duty and right to vote
A government dedicated to securing our future by fighting climate change
Our research shows that Vice President Harris's record as a prosecutor, attorney general, U.S. Senator, and time serving the Oval Office shows that she is committed to the same vision.
